PCNNZ Scholarships

Each year there are two scholarships available of $500 maximum/applicant.

First round is open 1 February to 30 June annually and is awarded in July. Second round is open 01 July to 31 January annually and is awarded in February.

Scholarships can be used to attend a conference, for post-graduate study, or other professional development. Applications are open to all members.

Retrospective awards will not be considered. The date of the event you are seeking a scholarship for must occur after the closing date of the scholarship round.

Maori Women's Welfare League PALLIATIVE CARE NURSES NZ CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP No Nga Hau e Whā MWWL are delighted to announce a special scholarship opportunity for a nurse that identifies as Māori to attend the Palliative Care Nurse Conference NZ on 18-19th March 2024 in Wellington. Our peka No Nga Hau e Whā, is dedicated to championing professional development within the healthcare community. Award: $250 towards conference fees or accommodation. Eligibility: • Registered nurse that identifies as Māori • Demonstrated commitment to palliative care • Priority will be given to members of the Māori Women's Welfare League How to Apply: Write a brief essay (500 words) outlining your commitment to palliative care and the impact attending the conference will have on your professional growth and when providing palliative care to Māori.
